|While we had hoped to pick up where we left off and commence Term 2 as usual, as you know - this will not be possible due to the continued social distancing requirements.|
However, the committee and Dan have been working hard behind the scenes to find a way to keep Mixtape Chorus going and keep you all singing during this time.
We are excited to announce that starting this term - we will be running virtual Mixtape rehearsals via Facebook. If you are interested in taking part, please email email@example.com
It is with a very heavy heart that we write to inform you that we have decided to cancel the rest of this term of Mixtape Chorus.
The health and safety of our community must be our priority at this time and the advice we are receiving from health experts tells us that social distancing is the best way for us to keep ourselves and others safe. For us, that’s a very hard truth to accept. At Mixtape, our sole purpose has always been to break down social isolation and create community and connection through singing. We aim to provide a space that is all about joy. To be unable to provide that space at a time when it is most needed is extremely disappointing.
Our term was scheduled to run up until 16 April 2020. We will be cancelling all remaining rehearsals and will then make a decision on resuming with Term 2 (scheduled to commence on 30 April).
